Transportation Assistance for QME and AME Appointments

We understand that traveling to a medical-legal exam can be challenging. For your convenience, we support transportation needs for claimants attending Qualified Medical Evaluations (QME) or Agreed Medical Evaluations (AME) at our offices.

  • For Represented Claimants: Transportation to and from your evaluation may be arranged and paid by your attorney, the claims administrator (insurance company), or their designated transportation vendor. We are happy to coordinate with your representative to ensure a smooth visit.

  • For Unrepresented Claimants: Under California workers' compensation law, the insurance company is responsible for reimbursing or advancing reasonable travel costs to attend a QME. If you need transportation assistance, we can help direct you to the claims adjuster handling your case for arrangements.

Note: We do not provide or directly pay for transportation, but we are available to assist in coordinating with the appropriate party to facilitate your visit.
