Sandra Alvarez
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Hi all, my name is Sandra Alvarez, and I’m an associate marriage and family therapist with over five years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I am proud to be a first generation Mexican American, and I am immensely passionate about serving the Latinx community. I obtained my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Palo Alto University. My therapeutic approach is strength-based, person-centered, and collaborative, emphasizing compassion, patience, and understanding. I specialize in addressing a variety of complex issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and family conflicts.
Dr. Desiree Hermosillo
PsyD/Clinicial Psychological Associate
Hola, I am a Bilingual Latina Clinical Psychological Associate and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with eight years of experience in community mental health agencies and private practice as a therapist. I am the Director of Clinical Training here at Counseling Services, Inc. I also supervise the pre-licensed master’s level clinicians. I specialize in working with Latinx individuals/families and adolescents/young adults. I have worked with individuals (children, adolescents, young adults, adults), couples, and families as a unit in various cultures and social backgrounds. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD (immigration, abuse), self-harm, and grief and loss, to name a few. I focus on helping you rebuild your interpersonal relationships (community/village) and learn how the past influences your present behaviors. In sessions, I create a judgment-free zone and offer a safe space for you to feel heard and be your true, authentic self. You lead, and I guide.
Chandler Riley
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
As long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by stories and how they are told. As a narrative therapist, I have helped many individuals from all walks of life take control of the narratives and storylines that they feel have kept them from being the person they wanted to be. Regardless if you are a teenager looking for belonging, someone dealing with chronic illness, a couple trying to resolve your differences, or a parent trying to connect with your child, I am happy to help you find your happy ending. I use a mix of traditional evidence based therapeutic practices (CBT/ACT/DBT skills) along with more unique multimedia approaches incorporating physical and digital games, music, movies, and more to connect with you and help you make sense of the world in your own unique way.
Thomas Arkosy
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
My approach to psychotherapy is a collaborative relational process between client and therapist. In my approach, I see my diverse clients not as a collection of symptoms and problems. I see a complete emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual human being who is facing problems, pain, and/or challenges which they feel they need help to process and resolve.

Samantha Franklin
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
As a neurofeedback practitioner and associate psychotherapist, I find few things more remarkable than the mind’s capacity for growth and healing. There are so many powerful ways to modulate and optimize how we experience emotion and connect with those around us. I passionately believe that everybody possesses the power to heal and thrive. I strive to facilitate a fun, collaborative, creative, easy-going, totally non-judgmental clinical space where unvarnished honesty and personal growth can flourish. Being human is often challenging, painful, and beautiful beyond words. You deserve peace and purpose, and I welcome the chance to work with you towards actualizing your goals and best hopes.
